Container Orchestration

Automation of the deployment, scaling, and operations of application containers across clusters of hosts. Orchestration automates the lifecycle (start, update, replicate, kill) and location of all the containers for a given application across all the available host resources. 

The most commonly used platform by far is Kubernetes, but Docker (Swarm), each of the major public clouds, VMWare, Redhat and others offer container orchestration.
